Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the U.S. go-to-market strategy for Brown Dust 2, a visually-stunning collectible RPG that fuses high-fidelity anime art with deep tactical gameplay. You will translate global brand pillars into culturally-relevant campaigns that resonate with American anime and JRPG fans, driving both acquisition and long-term retention.
- • Plan, budget, and execute high-impact offline activations at marquee events such as Anime Expo, PAX West & East, New York Comic-Con, and Sakura-Con. From 50-person fan meetups to 5,000-attendee booth experiences, you will design every touchpoint—from floor layout and swag to stage content and influencer cameos—ensuring each event deepens emotional attachment to the IP.
- • Build and nurture a nationwide network of brand ambassadors, cosplay partners, doujin creators, and micro-influencers. Negotiate contracts, set KPIs, and provide creative briefs that empower partners to co-create authentic content while safeguarding brand consistency across TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- • Lead end-to-end collaboration with external agencies, media buyers, and production vendors. Scope SOWs, manage timelines, approve creative, and track ROI so every dollar spent amplifies reach within the anime-gaming community and ladders up to quarterly install and revenue targets.
- • Translate Korean HQ campaign toolkits into U.S.-ready assets—adapting copy, visuals, and tone for American sensibilities without diluting core IP identity. Work hand-in-hand with the localization, community, and live-ops teams to synchronize pre-registration pushes, seasonal events, and limited-time collaborations.
- • Mine first-party player data, social listening dashboards, and market research to surface actionable insights. Present weekly trend reports to Korea HQ that inform everything from banner art style to gacha pricing, ensuring the game evolves in lockstep with U.S. fan expectations.
- • Spearhead strategic IP crossovers and licensing deals with U.S. anime studios, manga publishers, and lifestyle brands. Evaluate inbound opportunities, model revenue impact, and shepherd approvals from legal, finance, and creative stakeholders on both sides of the Pacific.
- • Champion a test-and-learn culture by launching A/B experiments across paid social, influencer whitelisting, and experiential stunts. Rapidly iterate messaging, creative formats, and audience segments to double down on what sparks fandom and discard what doesn’t.
- • Serve as the cultural bridge between NEOWIZ Santa Monica and Seoul HQ, distilling American gamer sentiment into concise briefs that guide product roadmaps. Host quarterly syncs with Korean producers, artists, and community managers to align on upcoming heroes, story arcs, and monetization beats.
- • Foster internal knowledge sharing by creating living playbooks for event production, influencer onboarding, and community crisis response. Mentor junior marketers and interns, cultivating the next generation of brand storytellers who live and breathe anime gaming culture.
