📋 Description

• The Network Construction Manager at Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. is responsible for providing end-to-end customer support, planning, and implementing fiber connectivity solutions, managing customer orders, and serving as the single point of contact for customers post-sale, ensuring timely execution and communication of projects and orders.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing construction vendors to expedite outside plant (OSP) facility construction and splicing, overseeing permitting submittals and engineering/construction vendor performance, coordinating with internal and external resources for timely project completion, and providing direct interface with customers, subcontractors, jurisdictional authorities, and interoffice personnel, including travel to client and construction sites as needed.
• Zayo provides mission-critical bandwidth to impactful companies across industries such as wireless and wireline carriers, media, tech, finance, and healthcare, operating a 141,000-mile network in North America and Europe with solutions including dark fiber, private data networks, wavelengths, Ethernet, and dedicated Internet access.
• In this role, the individual will develop expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, project management, vendor coordination, permitting processes, and customer-facing technical solutions, while gaining experience in budget tracking, procurement, bid execution, and Salesforce-based project tracking, contributing to the sound financial and operational performance of the company’s network services.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree preferred
• Minimum of seven (7) years in the telecommunications industry with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures, optical transport equipment, and project management experience
• Must have four (4) years familiarity with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing large capital projects
• Familiar with Email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth and AutoCad
• Must be able to manage multiple aggressive RFP and design construction schedules and responses
• Must be able to understand and read construction documents
