- • The NeuroPsych Account Specialist role is critical to driving product adoption and growth for Neurocrine Biosciences’ neuroscience-focused therapies in a defined geographic territory, directly supporting the company’s mission to relieve suffering for patients with neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include executing territory sales strategies through in-person and virtual engagements with healthcare providers such as psychiatrists, neurologists, NPs, and PAs; building relationships with clinical staff, payers, pharmacies, and advocacy groups; managing promotional resources; and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including Medical Science Liaisons, Marketing, and Patient Access.
- • The role operates within Neurocrine Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical leader with over 30 years of innovation in neuroscience, dedicated to developing treatments for underserved patient populations and fostering an inclusive, purpose-driven culture.
- • The specialist will develop expertise in specialty pharmaceutical sales, gain deep insight into neuropsychiatric and neurological therapeutics, refine strategic account management skills, and contribute to product launches and market expansion while upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree in science or related field AND minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and launch success in complex healthcare environments
- • Proficiency with sales force automation and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Veeva, SAP, Oracle)
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must reside within the assigned geographic territory
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to navigate complex accounts across varied care settings
- • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and commitment to ethical, compliance-driven practices
