- • Lead a regional sales team in Western New York to promote life-changing treatments for neurological, psychiatric, and endocrine disorders, ensuring achievement of sales objectives.
- • Recruit, develop, onboard, and retain top-performing sales talent through strategic talent management and continuous performance coaching.
- • Provide direct field coaching by regularly observing and engaging with each account specialist to improve sales execution and outcomes.
- • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for psychiatric and neurological markets, identifying regional opportunities and removing barriers to team success.
- • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive data-informed performance improvements.
- • Manage regional budgets and expenses with accountability and efficiency while ensuring full compliance with Neurocrine policies, FDA guidelines, and industry standards.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and local patient advocacy groups within the assigned region.
- • Coordinate with specialty pharmacies and payers to optimize market access and streamline specialty pharmacy fulfillment processes.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments to align regional initiatives with corporate strategy.
- • Serve as a trusted liaison between field teams and headquarters, ensuring clear communication and operational alignment.
- • Demonstrate leadership through ambiguity by providing directional clarity and guiding teams toward effective solutions without requiring perfect answers.
- • Uphold the highest ethical standards and foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and performance excellence.
- • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing improved tools, processes, and best practices within the sales function.
- • Maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory environment and apply this knowledge to all commercial activities.

🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree and 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals, including 3+ years of first-line sales management
- • Master’s degree preferred with 6+ years of relevant experience OR PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience
- • Proven sales performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving recognition awards
- • Demonstrated experience leading teams in complex, competitive product launch environments
- • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environment and FDA compliance standards
- • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

- • Annual base salary range of $169,000.00–$231,000.00
