- • The New Business Case Manager I role at Pacific Life Insurance Company is essential to ensuring that new life insurance applications are processed accurately, completely, and in compliance with regulatory standards, directly supporting the company’s mission to protect policyholders’ futures.
- • Day to day, the role involves reviewing new business applications for completeness and accuracy, analyzing case information to determine appropriate actions, following up on outstanding requirements, communicating with agents and financial institutions, utilizing CMD resources to verify product and regulatory requirements, and maintaining timely, professional outreach to ensure smooth case processing.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in life insurance underwriting processes, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence, while building cross-functional relationships with underwriting, distribution, and marketing teams, and strengthening your ability to manage high-volume workloads with precision and empathy.

- • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- • Experience working successfully with a variety of customers, preferably within the financial services industry
- • Clear verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy, speed, and thoroughness
- • Understanding of NB and UW terminology (labs, APSs, MVRs, etc.) or willingness to learn
- • Familiarity with underwriting requirements based on age and amount criteria
