📋 Description

• The New Patient Admissions Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the full inbound patient journey from initial contact to confirmed intake, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and compassion in every interaction.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound calls from patients, families, and referral partners; conducting structured intake conversations; screening for eligibility; scheduling appointments; maintaining accurate EHR records; coordinating with clinical teams; and following up on pending documentation or referrals.
• The role operates within Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc.’s Hire Hangar division, which connects top talent with global employers offering remote, long-term career opportunities in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
• This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in patient intake workflows, healthcare eligibility screening, EHR systems, and remote healthcare operations while making a tangible impact on patient access to care in behavioral health and recovery settings.

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in new patient coordination, medical admissions, intake coordination, or a closely related role
• Strong critical thinking skills — able to assess situations quickly, problem-solve, and adapt without constant direction
• Excellent spoken and written English — clear, direct, and professional in all patient-facing communications
• Experience using EHR or patient management platforms
• Proven ability to manage high call volumes with accuracy and composure
• Must have prior remote work experience and be fluent with tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or similar
• Must have experience working with U.S.-based companies — applications without this background will not be considered
