- ⢠The Nursing Assistant, Certified role at Sanford Healthās Remembrance Home in Beaver Dam, WI, is a vital frontline caregiver position responsible for providing compassionate, resident-centered care in an assisted living setting under the supervision of a charge nurse.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility support; obtaining and recording vital signs; supporting meal service and dining experiences; performing range-of-motion exercises; and providing psychosocial support and companionship.
- ⢠The role may involve assisting with non-invasive specimen collection, administering medications as delegated by licensed nurses (per state scope), documenting care outcomes, and communicating changes in resident condition to the nursing team.

šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Wisconsin
- ⢠High school diploma or GED preferred (not strictly required)
- ⢠Minimum age of 16 years
- ⢠Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting preferred
- ⢠Ability to complete annual competency testing and maintain at least 12 hours of continuing education per year
- ⢠Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by department needs
