📋 Description

• The O&M Sourcing Specialist will serve as the local owner for O&M sourcing activities, ensuring the realization of business objectives for the Naama, Boutlelis, and Mostaganem sites by developing, communicating, and executing sourcing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with sourcing commodity teams to translate business requirements into commodity strategy, leading execution of O&M sourcing strategy at designated sites, managing ERP systems (Oracle and PowerMax), supporting process improvements using Lean/Kaizen, deploying supply chain optimization initiatives, reviewing KPIs with leadership, collaborating with SQE teams on quality and delivery, managing purchase orders end-to-end, ensuring regulatory and compliance adherence, organizing EHS training with suppliers, and working cross-functionally to implement business solutions.
• The role is based in Oran with periodic travel to the Algiers headquarters and reports to the O&M Engineering Manager with a strong dotted line to the O&M Sourcing Leader, operating within Gevo Inc.’s global supply chain and operations framework focused on energy and industrial projects.
• The specialist will gain expertise in strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, vendor management, and process improvement methodologies while contributing to cost savings, supplier performance, and operational excellence across international energy infrastructure projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or high school diploma
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain within power generation, power plant construction, or oil & gas industries
• Fluency in English, Arabic, and French languages
