  • • The Onboarding Specialist at Modivcare Inc. plays a critical role in shaping the first 30 days of a new team member’s journey, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and compliant transition into the organization. This role is vital to employee retention, engagement, and operational readiness by managing all pre-employment activities and early integration efforts.
  • • Day to day, the specialist will take ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process, including communicating pre-employment requirements, scheduling screenings, tracking task completion via Smartsheet, organizing documentation, conducting 15- and 30-day check-ins, managing background checks, utilizing HR platforms like ADP and iCIMS, processing internal tickets, contributing to SOP improvements, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

The Onboarding Specialist joins a collaborative, service-oriented HR team committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and fostering a positive employee experience from day one.
  • • In this role, the individual will develop strong HR operational expertise, gain hands-on experience with industry-standard HRIS platforms, refine communication and organizational skills, and contribute meaningfully to process improvement initiatives—building a foundation for growth into broader HR or talent acquisition roles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School Diploma required.
  • • Two (2) plus years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
  • • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
