- • The Operational Business Management Manager at Amgen supports operational financial planning, resource forecasting, and workforce management to ensure efficiency and financial discipline within Global Development Operations, directly contributing to the mission of serving patients with serious illnesses.
- • Day to day, the role involves partnering with GDO and cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, HR, IT) to support budget planning, forecasting, and resource management; tracking and managing budgets; contributing analyses for investment prioritization; supporting resource capacity planning; managing workforce forecasts and hiring plans; monitoring staffing levels and identifying risks; driving alignment between resource supply and portfolio demand; collaborating with internal and external partners; and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and forecasting accuracy.

🎯 Requirements
- • Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Business Operations / Workforce & Financial Planning experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Business Operations / Workforce & Financial Planning experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Business Operations / Workforce & Financial Planning experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Business Operations / Workforce & Financial Planning experience
- • 5+ years of experience in budget planning, resource management, workforce planning, operations management, or business operations within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industry
- • Proficiency with data visualization, reporting, and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SAP, Anaplan, or similar platforms)
