  • • The Operations Associate II role at R1 RCM Inc. supports the company’s mission to transform the patient experience and financial performance of healthcare providers through technology-driven revenue cycle solutions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient documentation and insurance-related materials, directly contributing to operational efficiency and compliance.
  • • Day to day, the associate will process itemized documentation from payors per patient request, track and adapt to changes in client processes, manage and prioritize a backlog of urgent requests, and utilize EPIC systems to maintain accurate records. The role requires applying knowledge of EOBs, CPT & ICD-9/10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, HCPCS, DRGs, and authorizations/referrals while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School diploma or equivalent
  • • 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, medical billing, or revenue cycle
  • • Working knowledge of EOBs, CPT & ICD-9/10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, HCPCS, DRGs, and authorizations/referrals
  • • Experience working in EPIC electronic health record system
  • • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements
