• • As an Operations Delivery Business Partner (BP) at Worldwide Holdings Corporation, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and operational excellence of our project delivery functions. This pivotal role acts as the primary financial advisor and strategic partner to the Operations Delivery leadership team, ensuring robust financial stewardship and driving insightful performance analysis across all project lifecycles. You will be at the forefront of optimizing project profitability, supporting critical operational decision-making, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and cultivating a strong financial acumen within our delivery teams. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of a services-based organization, particularly within the dynamic Contract Research Organization (CRO) sector.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass leading the financial planning and analysis for the delivery unit. This includes spearheading the development of the Annual Budget, crafting multi-year Strategic Plans, and managing the monthly forecasting processes. You will meticulously oversee the project-level financial performance, closely monitoring key metrics such as realization, gross margin, and the effective management of out-of-scope (OOS) activities. Identifying and mitigating project risks from a financial perspective will be a core part of your role, ensuring projects remain on track and profitable.
• • You will also provide informal leadership and guidance to finance teams, irrespective of their direct reporting structures. This involves fostering a culture of accountability, promoting collaborative efforts, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting. Your ability to influence and mentor will be key to enhancing the financial literacy and capabilities of the delivery teams.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves supporting business development initiatives. You will contribute to financial modeling for feasibility studies, helping to assess the viability of new projects and opportunities. Furthermore, you will play a role in developing resourcing strategies from a financial standpoint, ensuring that projects are adequately and efficiently resourced.
• • Ensuring strict compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and revenue recognition standards is paramount. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data and processes, adhering to all regulatory and company policies.
• • The ideal candidate will possess strong business partnership skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional delivery teams. A deep understanding of project-based financials, including the intricacies of resourcing, revenue recognition, and margin drivers, is essential. You will leverage advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
