📋 Description

• Operations delivery lead responsible for leading the operational delivery of the full trade lifecycle across funds and equities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, trades, settlement, and reporting.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team of six, overseeing execution and settlement with key partners, managing exceptions and breaks, acting as an escalation point for trading incidents, owning and improving operational controls, supporting post-trade oversight, and partnering with Product and Engineering to improve workflows and reduce risk.

• The role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a team, deepen expertise in trading operations and regulatory expectations (FCA, CASS, MiFID II, COBS), drive process improvements, and contribute to scaling secure, resilient trading operations in a fast-moving fintech environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring people in trading, investment operations, platform operations, or a closely related environment
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle with hands-on experience in areas such as dealing, settlement, exceptions, fund or equity trading, transaction reporting, best execution, or operational controls
• Strong operational judgement: ability to assess issues, determine impact, coordinate response, and prevent recurrence
• Understanding of why FCA obligations (CASS, MiFID II, COBS) matter in day-to-day trading operations and willingness to deepen knowledge quickly
• Confidence working in high-volume, fast-moving environments with changing priorities and active workload management
• Clear and practical communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and external providers

• Salary between £50,000 and £65,000, dependent on experience and reviewed annually
