- • In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of operational activities, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. This involves developing clear operational plans that break down complex objectives into manageable tasks and timelines. A key aspect of your contribution will be the proactive identification of operational gaps, potential risks, and areas of inefficiency across various teams and workflows. You will lead the charge in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and best practices to enhance performance and drive measurable results.
- • A significant portion of your focus will be dedicated to process optimization and systems implementation. You will be tasked with designing, documenting, and refining operational processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality. A critical objective is to identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and free up valuable team resources. You will also play a key role in improving cross-functional workflows and handoffs, ensuring seamless collaboration between different departments. Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date operational documentation will be essential for supporting our growth and enabling effective knowledge transfer within a distributed team.
- • Data, reporting, and insights will form another core pillar of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for tracking key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing leadership with a clear view of operational health. This includes building and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports that visualize performance trends and highlight areas for attention. A crucial part of this function is analyzing these trends to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your ability to communicate these insights clearly and concisely to leadership will be vital for strategic planning and operational adjustments.
- • Team and resource management will also be a key component of your role. You will oversee capacity planning, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure optimal resource utilization and prevent burnout. Supporting the onboarding, training, and performance management of team members will be essential for fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring accountability and maintaining operational consistency across all activities. Cultivating strong execution habits within our remote environment will be a priority, ensuring that all team members are aligned and productive.
- • Finally, you will lead and manage various projects and initiatives. This includes taking ownership of cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational capabilities or addressing strategic priorities. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, identifying and mitigating dependencies, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to manage expectations. Proactively escalating risks and blockers to ensure smooth project progression will be a critical aspect of your project management duties. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure the on-time and high-quality delivery of all operational projects and initiatives, contributing directly to the company's success and growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or operational leadership roles
- • Strong ability to build and improve operational processes
- • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
- • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- • High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
- • Experience scaling operations in fast-paced or startup environments (Nice-to-have)
- • Exposure to automation, systems integration, or process design (Nice-to-have)
- • Background managing distributed or contractor teams (Nice-to-have)
- • Experience supporting leadership or executive initiatives (Nice-to-have)
- • Advanced proficiency in Spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- • Experience with databases/organization tools like Airtable or Notion
- • Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier or Make (Integromat)
- • Proven experience with project management software (Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Monday.com, etc.)
