- ⢠The Ophthalmology Account Director (OAD) represents Regeneronâs entire ophthalmology product portfolio, serving as a critical liaison between key business decision-makers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and internal teams including Market Access, Brand, and Executive leadership.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include driving customer-facing engagement (75% of time), conducting quarterly business reviews, delivering contract performance updates, educating stakeholders on GPO programs, identifying and engaging C-suite and KOLs, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Reimbursement teams to execute account plans, seeking customer feedback, and pursuing engagement opportunities at regional and national retinal meetings.
- ⢠The role operates within an integrated account business plan, working closely with ED Ophthalmology Accounts to manage provider contracts, partnership opportunities, and navigate complex healthcare environments while ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal priorities.
- ⢠The OAD will develop deep expertise in ophthalmology market dynamics, contract management, and cross-functional influence, gaining strategic experience in launching specialty biologics, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to product lifecycle strategy within a leading biotechnology company.

- ⢠10-12 years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience
- ⢠10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or related experience
- ⢠Previous experience launching new Specialty Pharmaceutical/Biologics products or indications
- ⢠Proven knowledge and relationships with executive-level decision makers from retina and other market GPOs and institutional trade partners
- ⢠Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, influence peers and management, and communicate effectively through presentation, negotiation, and content development
- ⢠Ability to travel 50-75%, including weekends as necessary
