- • Own the end-to-end order lifecycle for Smartsheet’s rapidly expanding EMEA customer base, processing high-volume purchase orders, amendments, and renewals with meticulous accuracy and lightning-fast turnaround times that keep deals moving and revenue flowing.
- • Serve as the primary operational quarterback between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success—translating complex commercial terms into clean system data, ensuring every contract, SKU, discount, and billing schedule is captured correctly in Salesforce, NetSuite, and Zuora so downstream teams can invoice, recognize revenue, and support customers without friction.
- • Build and continuously refine scalable order-ops playbooks: document step-by-step procedures, craft reusable templates, and automate repetitive tasks with Smartsheet’s own platform, turning tribal knowledge into institutional muscle that lets the team 10× its capacity without adding headcount.
- • Proactively audit incoming orders for completeness and compliance—spotting missing signatures, mismatched currencies, or non-standard clauses before they become fire-drills—then shepherd each deal through internal approval gates so Account Executives can hit their quarterly numbers and customers can start realizing value on day one.
- • Partner with Deal Desk and Revenue Operations to model pricing scenarios, validate discount tiers, and enforce global pricing policy, surfacing insights that help leadership refine packaging and accelerate time-to-close across the region.
- • Monitor real-time dashboards that track order velocity, error rates, and backlog health; when bottlenecks appear, dive into root-cause analysis, propose process tweaks, and rally cross-functional allies to restore flow and protect customer experience.
- • Champion data integrity: reconcile daily order logs, resolve sync issues between CRM and ERP, and run month-end close checks that give Finance confidence in every pound of reported revenue.
- • Collaborate with Legal and Security teams to ensure GDPR, SOX, and regional tax requirements are baked into every contract amendment, safeguarding Smartsheet’s reputation and minimizing audit risk.
- • Deliver white-glove support to Sales Ops and Customer Success Managers by fielding ad-hoc questions, generating custom reports, and training new hires on order-entry best practices—becoming the go-to expert who makes their jobs easier and their metrics shine.
- • Contribute to global projects such as multi-currency rollouts, new product launches, or ERP upgrades, representing EMEA needs and ensuring regional nuances are reflected in system configuration and user training.
- • Embrace a culture of experimentation: pilot AI-driven data-cleansing tools, test new approval workflows, and share wins (and lessons learned) in weekly Ops huddles, keeping Smartsheet at the cutting edge of SaaS order operations.
