- • Lead integrated communications, marketing, and user engagement efforts for the Vision Resource Center (VRC) to grow adoption and deepen value for California Community Colleges, districts, and system professionals.
- • Partner with senior and cross-functional leaders to develop VRC outreach strategies aligned with Vision 2030 priorities and systemwide educational goals.
- • Create and distribute multi-channel campaigns including email, newsletters, web content, flyers, slide decks, and internal updates to promote VRC resources and initiatives.
- • Manage and maintain the public-facing VRC website using WordPress, ensuring a user-centered, accessible design and contributing to the Universal Website initiative.
- • Coach, train, and support VRC community moderators and event managers; oversee the operation of select systemwide online communities and events.
- • Present regularly to end users on VRC functionality and value, managing new requests for systemwide communities and events.
- • Represent the VRC at key state-level events and collaborate with teammates to drive measurable outcomes from participation.
- • Track, analyze, and interpret engagement data using Google Analytics, Cornerstone Reporting 2.0, and dashboards to inform content optimization and strategic adjustments.
- • Apply SEO and digital analytics best practices to increase reach, engagement, and user retention across VRC platforms.
- • Champion user needs and experience in all VRC feature development and program enhancements, ensuring alignment with equity-minded educational outcomes.
- • Collaborate closely with Professional Learning and Success Center leadership to ensure messaging consistency and strategic alignment across all VRC initiatives.
- • Maintain awareness of California community college systems, higher education trends, and the role of the CCC Chancellor’s Office in shaping policy and practice.
- • Demonstrate mission-driven commitment to improving student pathways to economic and social mobility across California’s diverse communities.
- • Embrace innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship in executing outreach initiatives within a nonprofit, start-up-like, state-scale organizational culture.
- • Contribute to a shared leadership model that prioritizes professional development and organizational growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time program experience, with a BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- • Demonstrated experience with Agile project management
- • Experience training adult learners
- • Experience working in a learning management system (Cornerstone preferred)
- • State or national level work experience preferred
- • General knowledge of the California community colleges and higher education issues
