- • Headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, Megaport boasts a vibrant and diverse team of over 400 professionals spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. We foster an environment that is not only collaborative and supportive but genuinely fun, encouraging innovation and personal growth.
- • Our team culture is built on a foundation of problem-solving, technical expertise, and a shared passion for cloud technology. We are a collective of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics who believe that collaboration trumps hierarchy. Curiosity is the engine that drives our continuous growth, and every voice is valued and heard.
- • At Megaport, we take our work seriously, but we never take ourselves too seriously. We operate across multiple time zones to achieve our ambitious global vision, empowering each other with trust and autonomy to accomplish our goals. Our commitment to our values is unwavering; we never compromise them for commercial gain. Above all, our customers are at the heart of every decision and action we take.
- • The Global People & Culture (P&C) team at Megaport is expanding, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Advisor or Business Partner to join our ranks. This US-based position offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain exposure to diverse global HR practices and to collaborate with a dynamic, forward-thinking, and dedicated P&C team that is anything but boring.
- • This role is perfectly suited for an individual who excels in a remote work setting, demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, and proactively takes initiative. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional employee experiences, working in close partnership with leadership teams and contributing to broader People & Culture initiatives that shape our global workforce.
- • As a P&C Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters. This includes, but is not limited to, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
- • You will play a crucial role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from recruitment through to departure. This involves collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure smooth onboarding processes and working with managers to address performance concerns and facilitate development conversations.
- • A significant aspect of this role will involve contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company values, legal requirements, and global best practices. You will be responsible for staying abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations in the US and other jurisdictions where Megaport operates.
- • You will actively participate in various HR projects, such as the enhancement of our HRIS system, the development of employee engagement programs, and the rollout of new HR initiatives. Your input and execution will be vital in driving the success of these projects.
- • Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organization will be paramount. You will act as a reliable resource and advisor, offering practical solutions and strategic insights to support business objectives and foster a positive work environment.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential HR issues and developing strategies to mitigate risks and promote a fair and equitable workplace. You will be involved in conducting investigations, mediating disputes, and providing recommendations for resolution.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR processes and systems, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall employee experience. Your insights will help shape the future of HR at Megaport.
- • You will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment. Your adaptability and resilience will be key to navigating the evolving needs of our growing organization.
- • This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our people and culture, contributing to Megaport's continued success and growth as a global technology leader. You will be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to creating an outstanding workplace.
