- • Operate HVLP, Airless, Powder Gun, and brush-and-roll equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals and manufactured products.
- • Mix paints and other solutions according to specifications to achieve desired color, consistency, and performance.
- • Monitor curing processes and environmental conditions to ensure proper drying and finish quality.
- • Complete surface finishing tasks including baking, polishing, and application of protective coatings.
- • Lead and coordinate painting crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical specifications.
- • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished projects to verify compliance with quality standards, including surface preparation, paint application, and color matching.
- • Enforce all safety regulations and company policies related to painting operations, including conducting safety training and routine safety inspections.
- • Manage resources such as paint supplies, tools, and equipment; order materials and schedule maintenance as needed.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve issues including paint adhesion failures, color discrepancies, and equipment malfunctions by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including work orders, material usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
- • Prepare reports on project progress, quality outcomes, and operational challenges encountered during painting tasks.
- • Provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on training to painting team members to enhance skill development and performance.
- • Conduct performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- • Maintain a high level of detail orientation in all aspects of paint application and documentation.
- • Adhere to physical demands including standing, walking, stooping, and bending for 8+ hours daily.
- • Lift, lower, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- • Demonstrate constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back during daily tasks.
- • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold company values at all times.
- • Adapt flexibly to changing production schedules and operational priorities.
- • Willingness to take on additional roles as needed to support team and project success.
- • Participate in mandatory drug/alcohol screening and comply with random drug testing policies.
- • Undergo and pass a background check as a condition of employment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED
- • 3–10 years of general work experience in industrial painting or related field
- • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
- • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- • Willingness to pass drug/alcohol screening and background check
