📋 Description
- • The Paralegal Apprentice role at Allstate supports Client Legal Services attorneys by preparing pleadings, facilitating discovery, and assisting with trial materials, playing a key part in protecting customers through legal readiness and claims resolution.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include summarizing legal issues, communicating with claim partners and plaintiff attorneys, reviewing legislation, drafting pleadings and discovery documents, preparing trial materials, and assisting clients with discovery responses under attorney supervision.

- • This 12–24-month apprentice program allows individuals currently pursuing an associate’s degree to earn while they learn, receive mentorship and tuition assistance, gain hands-on paralegal experience, and build foundational legal skills in a supportive, remote-friendly environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing an associate’s degree from a community college or trade school (bachelor’s degree or higher candidates are not eligible)
- • Ability to assist in identifying and summarizing legal issues, monitoring case developments, and updating attorneys accordingly
- • Strong communication skills for interacting with claim business partners and plaintiff attorneys on case status
- • Proficiency in reviewing new legislation, drafting pleadings and discovery documents, and preparing materials for trial, arbitration, or mediation
- • Capability to review and serve discovery responses, assist clients with discovery questions, and support attorneys in trial preparation
