• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our mobile service robots in a busy hospital environment. This involves vigilant monitoring of robot activity, providing direct assistance when needed, and proactively identifying and resolving any operational challenges that may arise. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring our robotic solutions are functioning optimally and contributing positively to the hospital's workflow.
• A key aspect of this role is data collection and troubleshooting. You will be tasked with gathering comprehensive data from various real-world situations encountered during your shifts. This data, coupled with your detailed and accurate feedback, will be invaluable to our engineering team as they continuously refine and improve our robot's AI and performance. Your insights will directly influence the future development of our technology.
• Prioritizing the customer experience is paramount. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the expectations of our hospital partners and their staff are not only met but consistently exceeded. This requires a keen understanding of their needs, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service at all times. Your interactions will shape the perception and success of our robotic solutions within the clinical setting.
• Effective communication is essential. You will serve as a crucial liaison between the hospital staff, the public (on occasion), and our internal engineering team. Clearly and concisely communicating robot operations, providing updates, and addressing concerns will be a daily requirement. Your ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with hospital personnel will be key to successful integration.
• As part of the founding operations team, you will have a unique opportunity to help design and implement processes that will scale with the organization. This is a chance to contribute to the strategic development of our operational framework, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness as Diligent Robotics grows. Your input will help shape the future of how we deploy and manage our robotic fleet.
• Clinical Robot Associates are expected to be adept at solving unexpected situations that may arise during a shift. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure exceptional results for our hospital partners, demonstrating a shared commitment to excellence.
• This position is specifically located on-site in Columbus, OH, and is not a remote role. Candidates must be local to the Columbus area to be considered. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $20 per hour.
• This is not an engineering position, and a background in robotics or engineering is not a prerequisite. We are seeking individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a dedication to outstanding customer service.
