- ā¢ As a Part-Time Health Coach at Cylinder Health Inc., you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals managing chronic digestive conditions such as Crohnās disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, IBS, and more, helping them build healthier habits and improve quality of life through HIPAA-compliant phone, video, and messaging sessions.
- ā¢ You will build trusting relationships with members, apply behavioral change models like motivational interviewing and strengths-based care, guide goal-setting using SMART frameworks, support medication adherence and self-monitoring, and refer members to Registered Dietitians when needed for Medical Nutrition Therapy.
- ā¢ You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure coordinated, whole-person care, maintain strict confidentiality of Protected Health Information, and adhere to clinical pathways and regulatory standards while working remotely with a consistent evening and weekend schedule.
- ā¢ This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in behavioral health coaching within a mission-driven digital health company, develop proficiency in telehealth platforms, and make a tangible impact on underserved populations living with gastrointestinal conditions.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ National Board Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC) certification, or eligibility to sit for the exam within six months of hire
- ā¢ Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
- ā¢ 1+ year of face-to-face, telephonic, or video health coaching experience (chat-based coaching does not qualify)
- ā¢ Ability to work a consistent schedule that includes evenings and weekends
- ā¢ Quiet and professional dedicated workspace with secure high-speed internet
