• • As an Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission, engaging with utility customers to help them understand and implement energy-saving solutions.
• • This is not a typical call center role; your interactions will be focused on educating customers, promoting energy efficiency, and facilitating their participation in various programs designed to reduce energy consumption and costs.
• • You will support a diverse range of utility programs, utilizing multiple platforms and a variety of resources, including detailed scripts, talking points, and usage guides to ensure accurate and effective customer assistance.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of customer support functions, including providing general customer service, scheduling energy efficiency assessments or installations, enrolling customers in new programs, explaining program offerings and benefits, offering technical support for online portals or applications, and providing status updates on ongoing services.
• • Each customer interaction presents a unique opportunity to make a difference, requiring adaptability and a comprehensive understanding of different utility programs and customer needs.
• • You will leverage a wide array of support materials, from verbatim scripts for precise guidance to flexible talking points and simple usage guides, ensuring you can confidently address customer inquiries.
• • In addition to voice calls, some programs may involve customer interactions via chat and email, expanding your communication channels and support capabilities.
• • Gain real-time insights into your performance through accessible personal data and progress tracking, empowering you to continuously improve and achieve your goals.
• • This part-time, remote position offers a unique schedule, working alternating shifts between Thursdays - Sundays and Mondays - Wednesdays, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST, providing flexibility for those seeking supplementary employment.
• • We are seeking individuals who are comfortable and adept at handling inbound voice calls, expertly navigating provided scripts, and providing exceptional support for both general inquiries and technical issues.

• • This role requires a dedicated home office space, free from personal distractions, ensuring a professional and productive work environment.
• • You must be able to maintain a consistent internet connection that meets our minimum speed requirements (10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download / <99ms latency) and be able to hardwire your internet connection directly into your router.
• • The role demands the ability to be on the phone throughout your scheduled shift, necessitating a work environment free from other responsibilities or interruptions, such as childcare or answering the door.
• • You will be compensated at $17 per hour, plus a $65 monthly internet stipend to support your remote work setup.
