- • Partner with Channel, Partnerships, Sales, Product, and external partner firms to advocate for product and integration development aligned with customer needs and market demands
- • Collaborate with Ramp Channel Partner Managers to deliver customized product demonstrations, workflow illustrations, and enablement materials that onboard and train Ramp’s diverse partner ecosystem, including accounting firms, value-added resellers, and private equity firms
- • Help partners design and structure service packages tailored to Ramp customers, identifying opportunities for client-advisory or managed-service offerings that expand partner revenue streams
- • Architect, advise on, and validate custom API-based integrations between Ramp and third-party finance, ERP, HRIS, and IdP systems, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure technical implementations
- • Support Sales and Post-Sales teams in executing complex technical and accounting implementations for Ramp in coordination with Channel partners, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes
- • Evaluate new partner opportunities by analyzing customer requirements through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical evaluations during discovery phases to determine Ramp’s suitability
- • Work alongside Channel, Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations teams to create and maintain technical documentation, customer use case libraries, and an internal knowledge base of best practices
- • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Ramp’s partners, providing domain expertise in accounting systems, controllership workflows, and finance automation to strengthen partner trust in Ramp’s platform
- • Translate complex technical features into clear business value propositions for partners and their end customers, guiding them toward scalable, compliant, and efficient implementation approaches
- • Diplomatically steer partner conversations when requested configurations or workflows conflict with product best practices or system limitations, ensuring alignment with long-term customer success
- • Proactively identify gaps in partner enablement or product functionality, feeding insights back into product roadmap discussions to influence future development priorities
- • Maintain deep expertise in integration patterns between Ramp and third-party finance software platforms, staying current with evolving standards in accounting automation and SaaS ecosystem connectivity
- • Manage multiple partner engagements simultaneously with exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely delivery of technical support, training, and implementation milestones
- • Operate with high agency in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, owning end-to-end outcomes for partner technical success and adoption metrics
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in Partner Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing roles focusing on implementing business SaaS solutions
- • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or related field
- • Expertise in API architecting between finance-based software programs and proficiency in IdP, HRIS, and/or ERP solutions
- • Strong communication skills to translate complex technical solutions into business value and diplomatically guide customers away from misaligned requests
- • Experience working with channel sales, systems integrators (SIs), and independent software vendors (ISVs)
- • Proven ability in engineering, system design, and technical specification writing
