  • • Xplor Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Partner Development Specialist to join our thriving Xplor Pay vertical. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in expanding our payment solutions ecosystem by fostering strong, revenue-generating relationships with our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Independent Sales Organization (ISO) partners.
  • • In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Partner and Business Development, contributing to a team dedicated to delivering a comprehensive suite of payment solutions. These solutions encompass point-of-sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, mobile payment applications, in-app payment functionalities, robust recurring billing services, efficient e-invoicing, and automated reconciliation processes. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to enrich customer experiences through seamless and innovative payment integrations.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve developing a deep and nuanced understanding of each partner's organization. This includes mapping out their internal structures, identifying key stakeholders, understanding individual roles and responsibilities, and pinpointing the ultimate decision-makers. This in-depth knowledge will enable you to tailor your engagement strategies effectively.
  • • You will become an expert on your partners' unique business models and go-to-market strategies. By thoroughly grasping how they operate and reach their customers, you will be able to proactively identify strategic opportunities where Xplor's resources, technologies, and expertise can be leveraged to generate mutual revenue growth.
  • • Maintaining consistent and meaningful relationships with partners is paramount. This will involve regular, proactive communication, ensuring partners feel supported, informed, and valued. You will be their primary point of contact for strategic growth initiatives.
  • • A key responsibility is to educate partners on the wealth of Xplor resources available to them. This includes familiarizing them with platforms like Partner Home, New Merchant Home, and Campus, empowering them to utilize self-service tools effectively and efficiently, thereby streamlining their operations and accelerating their success.
  • • You will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of Xplor's payment product features and their associated benefits. This knowledge will be crucial in articulating the value proposition to partners and helping them understand how these solutions can enhance their own offerings and drive value for their end-customers.
  • • A significant focus of your role will be to drive sales production through consistent and strategic interaction with your assigned partners. You will work collaboratively to identify new opportunities and support their sales efforts.
  • • You will be responsible for meticulously monitoring and reporting on partner production performance. This involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular updates to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • • Collaborating closely with partners, you will establish and track ambitious business goals and critical performance metrics. This includes monitoring the depth and health of their sales pipeline, evaluating the effectiveness of their marketing efforts, and ensuring alignment with Xplor's strategic objectives.
  • • You will provide essential support to partners by assisting them with inquiries related to residual payments, commission structures, and other critical reporting requirements, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • • A crucial part of your role involves supporting the negotiation of pricing structures, contract renewals, and other vital commercial terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • • You will cultivate a thorough understanding of the various integration options available within the Xplor ecosystem, including their specific features, benefits, and technical requirements, to guide partners effectively.
  • • When issues arise, you will drive the resolution of escalated partner challenges by liaising effectively with Xplor's internal support teams, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
  • • Preparing and delivering comprehensive periodic business reviews for your assigned partners is a key deliverable. These reviews will showcase performance, identify trends, and outline future strategies.
  • • Depending on management guidelines and strategic importance, you may be required to visit partners to strengthen relationships and gain deeper insights into their operations.
  • • You will actively participate in relevant partner events, conferences, and industry gatherings to represent Xplor, network with partners, and stay abreast of market trends.
  • • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date partner information within organizational databases is essential for effective relationship management and reporting.
  • • This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, provided you have eligible working rights and are in a time zone that allows for effective collaboration with your team.
  • • The average base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with potential eligibility for monthly bonuses based on performance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in partner management, business development, or sales within the payments, FinTech, or SaaS industries, with a strong understanding of ISV and ISO models.
  • • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business models, identify revenue opportunities, and drive partner-led sales growth.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • • Familiarity with payment processing technologies, integration methods (APIs, SDKs), and the broader payments ecosystem.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary ($65,000 - $75,000) with potential for monthly performance-based bonuses.
