• • As a Partner Operations Representative at WaveMM1 LLC in Banjul, The Gambia, you will play a crucial role in integrating bill pay functionalities into user-facing apps, ensuring seamless payment experiences for customers, agents, and businesses while maintaining reliability and sufficient funding for business accounts.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing operationally escalated cases from Support Teams, interpreting user information, analyzing periscope charts, providing operational support to streamline payment ticket management, forecasting and following up on collections, communicating clearly with users about issues and outages, escalating cases to partners when necessary, maintaining communication with support and product teams, multitasking across priorities, keeping organized records via Slack, and communicating technical requirements directly to the engineering team.
• • You will join a rapidly growing, mission-driven team operating across nine African countries with remote members worldwide, united by the goal of making Africa the first cashless continent through radically affordable financial services, backed by top-tier investors including Founders Fund, Sequoia, Stripe, and Y Combinator.
• • In this role, you will develop expertise in payment systems operations, cross-functional communication, issue resolution, and financial service scalability in emerging markets, while gaining ownership of end-to-end projects and contributing directly to financial inclusion for underserved populations.
