📋 Description

• As a Partner Solutions Engineer at OpenAI, you will be at the forefront of enabling our global partner ecosystem to successfully leverage cutting-edge AI technologies, including ChatGPT Enterprise, the OpenAI Platform, and Codex.
• You will serve as a critical technical liaison, working hand-in-hand with system integrators, advisory agencies, and multinational and regional system integration firms to ensure they can effectively deploy and integrate OpenAI’s powerful AI solutions.
• Your primary mission will be to empower these partners through deep technical enablement, guiding them through the intricacies of implementing advanced AI solutions and identifying high-value use cases that drive significant business impact for their clients.
• This role demands a proactive approach to accelerating partners' time to productivity, ensuring they can deliver exceptional, high-quality services and solutions to a diverse range of end customers.
• You will be an integral part of a collaborative, cross-functional environment, working closely with our Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, Security, and Product teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Reporting to the Head of Technical Success Japan, you will be instrumental in scaling OpenAI's impact through strategic partner engagements.
• Key responsibilities include conducting thorough technical assessments of prospective partners to verify their strategic alignment with OpenAI's goals and their capacity to drive technology adoption.
• You will collaborate closely with the Revenue Partnerships team, functioning as a unified virtual team with clearly defined, shared goals.
• A significant part of your role will involve developing and delivering bespoke technical enablement programs, providing continuous support as partners integrate and deploy solutions.
• You will partner with the sales teams of our partners, offering technical guidance to help qualify and close opportunities, including delivering compelling demos, providing architectural recommendations, and clearly articulating the business value of OpenAI's innovative solutions.
• You will lead technical support efforts during partners' initial projects, ensuring successful implementations and mentoring their technical teams to achieve self-sufficiency in delivering robust OpenAI-powered solutions.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, you will expertly address complex technical inquiries, uphold the quality of partner-delivered services, and channel valuable product feedback to inform OpenAI's future product strategies and roadmaps.
• You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive internal documentation and playbooks that codify best practices for partner engagements.
• Furthermore, you will actively share insights derived from successful use cases, empowering both internal teams and our partner network with actionable knowledge.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
• Proven track record of successfully enabling and scaling SI and Consulting partner networks, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality customer outcomes.
• Deep understanding of IT security principles and customer requirements for technical B2B SaaS products, including experience with higher-level security and compliance support.
• Experience delivering prototypes of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions, coupled with knowledge of network/cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Javascript, and experience working with REST APIs.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical topics for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• A strong sense of ownership, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and a willingness to acquire new knowledge to achieve objectives.
• Humble demeanor, eagerness to collaborate with colleagues, and a commitment to team success.
