- • The Patient Access Scheduling Agent serves as the front door for patients to secure timely access to appropriate care, playing a critical role in ensuring patients receive the right services from the right provider at the right time.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include handling incoming and outbound phone calls to schedule appointments across multiple clinics and campuses, collecting patient demographics and insurance information, processing updates to patient records, securing medical records from external providers, and scheduling in-office procedures such as biopsies.
- • The role is part of UMass Memorial Health, a premier health system in Central Massachusetts with over 20,000 employees dedicated to patient care, academic excellence, and leading-edge research, where every employee is considered a caregiver contributing to healing for patients, the community, and each other.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma (required)
- • English speaking, reading, and writing skills (required)
- • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills (required)
- • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer service experience (preferred)
- • Previous experience in a healthcare organization (preferred)
- • Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills (preferred)

- • Signing bonus may be available (eligibility confirmed during interview process)
- • Competitive hiring range of $20.94 - $29.27 per hour
- • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule (40 hours/week, day shift)
