- • The Patient Account Resolution Specialist at Accendra Health (part of Owens & Minor, Inc.) plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely access to essential home healthcare services by resolving insurance and billing issues, directly supporting the company’s mission of Bringing Care To Life™.
- • Day to day, the specialist reviews new and recurring patient accounts to gather required documentation from referral sources for insurance billing, researches and secures patient information to maintain equipment coverage, evaluates documentation for compliance, manages outreach to patients, referrals, and field teams, performs follow-up for timely reimbursement, and proactively identifies trends to improve patient experience and prevent recurring issues.
