📋 Description
- • As a Patient Experience Representative - Appointment Prep at Getlabs Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless at-home diagnostic services by preparing appointments for mobile phlebotomists, directly impacting patient care access and operational efficiency.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting lab orders, mapping test codes using the Quest diagnostics directory, calculating required tube counts, and determining specimen processing requirements with high accuracy to support timely and correct sample collection.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Getlabs, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company backed by $50M in funding from industry leaders Labcorp and Quest, dedicated to expanding access to diagnostics through innovative at-home solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop strong attention to detail, gain expertise in clinical test codes and laboratory workflows, and build foundational skills in healthcare operations support, with opportunities to contribute to improved patient outcomes through precise appointment preparation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ability to interpret lab orders and accurately map test codes using the Quest diagnostics directory
- • Proficiency in calculating tube counts and determining specimen processing requirements based on test specifications
- • Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, desk-based tasks requiring sustained focus
- • Availability to work Sun–Thu, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PST, with initial training scheduled Mon–Fri for 2–3 weeks
