- • The Payment Services Market Manager at U.S. Bancorp’s Elavon subsidiary plays a critical role in driving profitable growth by developing new business relationships and expanding revenue from existing accounts within the Small Business segment, specifically targeting companies with less than $2.5M in annual revenue. This role directly supports U.S. Bank’s mission to empower customers and communities to make smarter financial decisions by delivering tailored payment solutions that enable business success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and managing a sales pipeline focused on small business clients, executing targeted merchant sales strategies and campaigns in alignment with Elavon’s payment processing offerings, maintaining and growing strategic partner relationships with internal bank stakeholders and external partners, providing regular activity reporting and progress updates to leadership on sales objectives, and implementing and sustaining an effective referral network and call program to generate consistent sales opportunities.

- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced expertise in B2B sales within the financial technology and payment processing industry, refine consultative selling and negotiation skills, gain deep exposure to merchant services ecosystems and point-of-sale systems, and build a track record of achievement that can lead to advancement into senior sales, market leadership, or regional management positions within the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- • Three to five years of relevant sales experience, preferably in merchant services or payment processing
- • Ability to travel and reside within a reasonable distance to the Charlotte market, with presence in the field/market at minimum 3 days each week
