- • We are seeking a highly diligent and process-oriented Payments Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pune. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the utmost accuracy and timeliness of our global transaction flows. You will be instrumental in the daily execution of the entire payment lifecycle, from meticulously monitoring high-volume queues and executing complex cross-border FX transactions to strategically allocating liquidity for our essential Safeguarding runs.
- • As a Payments Analyst, you will act as the crucial conduit between our front and back-office operations, adeptly resolving intricate investigations and ensuring our operational processes run with unparalleled efficiency, all while adhering to stringent deadlines. Your precision and dedication will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of Verto's global payment infrastructure.
- • Key responsibilities include the meticulous management of the daily execution of cross-border payments and FX transactions, ensuring absolute accuracy and strict adherence to internal policies and critical deadlines. You will be tasked with actively monitoring various payment queues, diligently tracking progress, and prioritising tasks to guarantee timely processing and optimise overall team performance.
- • Furthermore, you will execute vital operational tasks such as the precise allocation of liquidity necessary for efficient payment processing and the performance of daily Safeguarding runs, which are crucial for regulatory compliance and financial security. Your role will extend to serving as the primary point of contact for all internal communications between the front and back-office teams, fostering seamless collaboration and ensuring the smooth progression of payment operations.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves proactively investigating, diligently following up on, and effectively resolving client inquiries and operational problems. This requires adept communication and coordination with clients, banking partners, and various internal departments to achieve swift and satisfactory resolutions. 🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the fintech, financial services, or payments industry.
- • Exceptional precision and a strong focus on accuracy, particularly in high-volume transaction processing environments.
- • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines through superior workload organisation and prioritisation skills.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to assist with corrections and remediations.
- • Comfortable and available to work the required hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM IST.
- • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and business partners at all levels.
