- • As a Direct Sales Representative in the MPS division at U.S. Bancorp’s Elavon subsidiary, you will drive revenue growth by acquiring new merchant clients and expanding existing relationships across Alabama’s key markets—Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile—playing a pivotal role in transforming legacy partnership models into a high-performance direct sales strategy.
- • Day to day, you will prospect and acquire new merchant clients in Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector verticals; conduct product demonstrations; manage a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce; negotiate pricing and contract terms; build long-term client relationships; execute retention strategies; serve as a trusted advisor; identify high-growth opportunities; stay current on industry trends and regulations; and ensure compliance with internal controls while maintaining accurate sales records.
- • You will join Elavon, a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank, which powers payment solutions for over 1.5 million global customers through innovative platforms and ecosystems, committed to enabling financial success for businesses and communities through tailored, technology-driven payment solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in direct sales within the payments industry, sharpen your consultative selling and negotiation skills, gain deep exposure to merchant services and payment processing technologies, and build a track record of revenue growth—positioning you for advancement within U.S. Bank’s expansive financial services network.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- • Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- • Ability to travel
- • 3–5 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in payments, financial services, or SaaS (Preferred)
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (Preferred)
- • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (Preferred)
