📋 Description

• Own end-to-end treasury operations for Polygon’s Open Money Stack, building the liquidity function from scratch to support instant cross-border payments across global corridors
• Decide capital allocation across all OMS corridors using real-time customer demand data, not month-end reporting, determining where liquidity sits, how it moves, and the cost per dollar transferred
• Execute intraday funding and rebalancing transactions directly for Polygon’s liquidity book and instruct aggregator partners (Bitso, Thunes, and others) to source and top-up liquidity ahead of cut-offs to prevent customer impact
• Price treasury costs in real time during sales calls, providing live unit economics (e.g., "32 bps works if we deploy $1.8M") and rejecting deals that fail margin thresholds
• Define and operate a shared corridor capital model with Finance, ensuring commercial decisions and corporate capital governance are aligned under a single set of pre-approved numbers
• Manage the daily FX hedge book, choosing between locked rates and real-time conversion based on customer flow profiles, monitoring spread deviations, and adjusting hedging structures as volumes shift
• Oversee stablecoin and fiat liquidity across banking partners, exchanges, and on-chain venues, including managing Talos integrations and negotiating liquidity provider contracts
• Build and deploy an AI-driven liquidity sourcing engine using Claude and similar tools to automate corridor pricing analysis, hedge book monitoring, counterparty reporting, and deal economics modeling
• Track exposure, cost, speed, and risk per corridor, delivering quarterly reports to OMS leadership and the CFO with rate card recommendations grounded in actual corridor P&L
• Embed liquidity operations into the Polygon OMS product by collaborating directly with the Product team to translate capital requirements and corridor mechanics into infrastructure design
• Define scaling triggers and staffing plans for the liquidity function, identifying when dedicated underwriting, monitoring, and collections roles are needed as the credit book grows
• Operate with full ownership: write models, run the book, and answer for outcomes without a team, acting autonomously within defined capital ceilings and credit policies
• Communicate commercial fluency by defending capital rejections to sales teams and presenting capital requests to the CFO in plain language with supporting data
• Use AI tools daily in a professional context to automate treasury workflows, including deal modeling, liquidity analysis, and monitoring systems

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated intraday capital management experience at a payments company, OTC desk, market maker, prop trading firm, or bank funding desk
• Hands-on cross-border payments experience managing FX exposure, multi-currency liquidity, and corridor-level operations, with non-negotiable stablecoin or crypto treasury experience
• Proven track record of building or running a treasury or liquidity function independently, without a team to absorb operational slack
• Proven daily use of AI tools like Claude or equivalent for professional workflows such as deal economics modeling, liquidity analysis, or automated monitoring
• Operational speed within defined limits: ability to act autonomously within capital ceilings and credit policy without seeking approval on every decision
• Commercial fluency to defend capital rejections to sales teams and present capital requests to CFOs with clear, data-backed reasoning
