- • The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is a critical HR role responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, benefits administration, and expense reimbursement operations for U.S.-based employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across multiple states.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing bi-weekly payroll via ADP Workforce Now, administering benefits deductions (medical, dental, vision, retirement), managing multi-state tax compliance using ADP SmartCompliance, overseeing Concur expense reporting, reconciling payroll records, preparing year-end tax documents (W-2s, 1099s), supporting audits, and serving as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
- • The PAC Group is a growing organization that values precision and compliance in HR operations, with this role embedded within the Human Resources department reporting directly to the Human Resource Director, collaborating closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to maintain regulatory adherence and operational excellence.
- • In this role, the specialist will deepen expertise in U.S. payroll regulations, multi-state tax systems, ADP Workforce Now and SmartCompliance platforms, and Concur expense management, while gaining experience in audit support, process optimization, and cross-functional partnership—positioning them for advancement in HR operations, payroll leadership, or benefits management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- • 5+ years of experience in U.S. payroll processing and administration
- • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP SmartCompliance
- • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state payroll tax regulations
- • Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus
