• • The Payroll Associate at Deel is an entry-level role that plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a globally distributed workforce, directly supporting Deel’s mission to unlock global opportunity by guaranteeing employees are paid correctly and compliantly across 150+ countries.
• • This role contributes to the integrity of Deel’s payroll operations, which processed $11.2 billion in worker payments in 2024 alone, making it essential to maintaining trust, compliance, and employee satisfaction in a high-growth, mission-driven SaaS environment.
• • Assist in processing payroll data for employees by entering, updating, and validating time, earnings, deductions, and tax information into payroll systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• • Help maintain accurate employee records by auditing and updating personal, compensation, and benefits data in HRIS and payroll platforms, ensuring data integrity for reporting and compliance.
• • Verify and reconcile employee data, including salaries, hours worked, bonuses, and deductions, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues to senior payroll specialists when needed.
• • Assist with payroll tax calculations and filings by supporting the preparation of local and international tax reports, ensuring adherence to country-specific regulations and deadlines.
• • Provide support to employees for payroll-related questions and issues via internal ticketing systems or email, offering clear, empathetic responses while maintaining confidentiality.
• • Help maintain compliance with payroll laws and regulations by monitoring regulatory changes, assisting in audit preparations, and following Deel’s internal controls and SOPs for payroll processing.
