- • The Payroll Enablement Manager at Deel plays a critical role in scaling the company’s global payroll operations by equipping client-facing teams with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to deliver seamless payroll experiences across 150+ countries. This role directly impacts Deel’s mission to unlock global opportunity by ensuring teams are proficient in payroll compliance, system navigation, and customer support excellence.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Develop and execute comprehensive enablement programs tailored to payroll-focused teams, including Payroll Operations, Payroll Implementation, and Customer Success, to drive adoption of best practices and improve service delivery efficiency.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and design targeted learning interventions aligned with business objectives and regional payroll complexities.
- • Create, maintain, and update training materials such as e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, SOPs, and video tutorials using tools like Articulate Rise/Storyline and Google Workspace to support onboarding and continuous learning.
- • Design and facilitate live and virtual training sessions for new hires and existing team members, tracking attendance, participation, and task completion to ensure knowledge retention and competency.
- • Implement and manage enablement technologies including Learning Management Systems (LMS), knowledge bases, and support platforms to streamline access to payroll-specific resources and reduce time-to-proficiency.
- • Define, track, and report on program KPIs such as training completion rates, assessment scores, time-to-competency, and post-training performance improvements to measure impact and inform iterative enhancements.
- • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members on leveraging enablement resources to troubleshoot complex payroll scenarios, comply with local regulations, and enhance customer interactions.
- • Support the creation and governance of knowledge-sharing platforms (e.g., internal wikis, FAQs) to ensure payroll teams have real-time access to updated compliance information, product changes, and process documentation.
- • Align all enablement initiatives with Deel’s global payroll strategy, ensuring consistency in messaging, compliance standards, and service quality across all supported countries and currencies.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in enablement, training, instructional design, or a related field with a proven track record of designing and implementing performance-driven learning programs.
- • Minimum two years of direct experience in a payroll-focused role such as Payroll Manager, Payroll Implementation Specialist, or Payroll Enablement, with strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and systems.
- • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Payroll Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align enablement initiatives with business goals and drive adoption.
- • Proficiency with enablement tools and platforms such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Google Workspace, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and content authoring software to create engaging, scalable training content.
- • Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, with ability to create compelling, audience-appropriate training materials for diverse, global audiences.
- • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing learning metrics, performance data, and feedback to measure program effectiveness and enable continuous improvement.
