- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and researching potential clients across target industries and segments (40% of time), building targeted prospect lists using multiple sourcing channels, and executing high-volume outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls while continuously refining targeting strategies to improve lead quality. The role also involves crafting personalized messaging to engage decision-makers, initiating conversations, qualifying prospects based on defined criteria, handling objections, communicating value propositions effectively, and maintaining consistent follow-ups to nurture and convert leads (30% of time). Additionally, the SDR schedules meetings and demos for Account Executives, ensures smooth handoff of qualified leads, tracks engagement and conversion metrics, maintains strong pipeline hygiene (20% of time), and logs all outreach activities and prospect data in CRM systems, maintains accurate records, generates performance reports, and provides insights to improve sales development strategies (10% of time).
