- • Achieve sales training objectives, goals, strategies, and measurable outcomes for Abbott’s Pediatric Nutrition division.
- • Design, develop, and implement product and sales skill training programs for new hires and existing sales team members, including product modules, sales aids, case studies, and supporting materials.
- • Adapt training content to evolving selling environments, customer needs, and market dynamics to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
- • Conduct classroom and field-based training sessions, delivering engaging group presentations to sales teams across the United States.
- • Utilize adult learning principles to enhance knowledge retention and application among sales professionals.
- • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Abbott’s pediatric nutrition products, including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, and related brands, to inform accurate and impactful training.
- • Perform annual reviews and updates of all assigned training materials to align with current business priorities and strategic initiatives.
- • Apply strong written communication skills to create clear, concise, and professional training documentation and resources.
- • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—Word, PowerPoint, and Excel—to support training delivery and administrative tasks.
- • Provide 1:1 coaching and facilitation to sales personnel to improve performance and drive adoption of best practices.
- • Travel up to 50% of the time to support regional sales teams, attend meetings, and deliver on-site training programs.
- • Collaborate with field sales leadership to identify training gaps and align curriculum with regional and national sales goals.
- • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines in all training materials and delivery methods.
- • Serve as a developmental role with an expected duration of 2+ years, preparing candidates for future relocation into field-based sales leadership positions.
- • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive landscape, and healthcare sales dynamics to enhance training relevance and impact.
- • Be accountable for meeting annual performance targets tied to training effectiveness and sales team outcomes.
- • Gain and apply competence in computer systems and field sales applications used to support training and reporting functions.
