đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the primary HR business partner for QSIC’s U.S.-based teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people strategy, organizational development, and employee relations.
  • • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for U.S. employees, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development planning, and offboarding — building these processes from the ground up.
  • • Design and implement scalable HR systems and practices that support rapid growth, ensuring alignment with company culture and legal compliance in the U.S. market.
  • • Partner closely with hiring managers to define talent needs, craft compelling job descriptions, source top-tier candidates, and lead full-cycle recruitment for critical roles across the organization.
  • • Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to QSIC’s fast-paced, innovative environment, collecting feedback and translating insights into actionable people programs.
  • • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by embedding inclusive practices into hiring, performance reviews, and team dynamics.
  • • Manage employee relations issues with discretion and fairness, providing guidance on policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
  • • Collaborate with the Head of People in Australia to align U.S. HR practices with global standards while adapting to local labor laws, cultural norms, and business needs.
  • • Build and maintain accurate, up-to-date HR records and reporting systems to support data-driven decision-making and organizational planning.
  • • Act as a cultural ambassador for QSIC, reinforcing the company’s mission of redefining in-store audio experiences through intentional, human-centered workplace practices.
  • • Proactively identify gaps in people infrastructure and lead the design of new programs — from learning and development pathways to recognition and retention strategies — that do not yet exist within the company.
  • • Support the scaling of QSIC’s U.S. operations by anticipating people challenges ahead of growth and creating proactive, scalable solutions rather than reactive fixes.
  • • Represent QSIC in the local talent market, building relationships with universities, tech communities, and industry networks to strengthen employer branding in Dallas and beyond.
  • • Ensure all HR activities comply with U.S. employment regulations, including but not limited to FLSA, ADA, Title VII, and state-specific labor laws.
  • • Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to align people strategy with business objectives and product roadmap priorities.
  • • Be the first point of contact for employees seeking guidance on workplace concerns, benefits, or career progression — fostering a culture of psychological safety and open communication.
  • • Continuously evaluate and refine HR processes to ensure they remain agile, efficient, and aligned with QSIC’s mission of moving fast and building something genuinely new.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role supporting U.S.-based teams in a high-growth tech or startup environment
  • • Deep understanding of U.S. employment law and compliance requirements
  • • Demonstrated ability to build HR systems and processes from scratch in a scaling organization
  • • Strong track record in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition
  • • Experience partnering with senior leadership to drive people strategy and organizational development
  • • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics

  • • Direct reporting line to the Head of People in Australia with global exposure
