  • • As a People Business Partner at Eye Security, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy for a fast-growing international cybersecurity scale-up, directly contributing to building a resilient, high-performing workforce that supports the company’s mission of making enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to all businesses across Europe.
  • • You will partner closely with the SVP People & Talent to design and implement scalable People products and processes that align with business goals, ensuring HR initiatives are both employee-centric and strategically impactful during a period of rapid international expansion.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include acting as the primary HR Business Partner for the technical vertical (security operations, product, and engineering) across international teams, providing expert guidance on performance management, leadership development, and organizational change.
  • • You will serve as the main point of contact for all hiring and people-related matters in the Netherlands, leveraging your deep knowledge of Dutch labor law to ensure compliant, fair, and effective HR practices while advising managers and employees on day-to-day challenges.
  • • You will design and implement end-to-end employee experience initiatives, including onboarding frameworks, performance review cycles, promotion processes, retention strategies, compensation reviews, and offboarding procedures, creating a cohesive and supportive journey for every team member.
  • • You will coach and support leaders at all levels, helping them navigate team dynamics, development needs, and strategic decisions during scaling, balancing empathy with business acumen to foster psychological safety and high performance.
  • • You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Director of Talent and L&D Manager on company-wide learning and development initiatives, and partner with People Operations to streamline tooling, standardize manager/employee touchpoints, and enhance HR systems.
  • • You will take a holistic, lifecycle-based approach to HR, continuously evaluating and improving People processes to ensure scalability, consistency, and adaptability as the organization grows across geographies.
  • • You will contribute to a culture of experimentation and learning, bringing curiosity and initiative to pilot new programs, gather feedback, and iterate on People solutions that reflect the evolving world of work and the unique needs of a tech-driven, mission-focused workforce.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Expertise in performance management, leadership development, and change management, including proven experience designing and implementing frameworks that support organizational transformation in fast-paced environments.
  • • Demonstrated experience as an independent HR Business Partner in a tech scale-up, with a track record of supporting geographically distributed teams and aligning HR strategy with business objectives.
  • • In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor law as it applies to everyday HR operations, including contracts, working hours, leave, termination, and employee relations, with the judgment to know when to escalate to legal experts.
  • • Business proficiency in both Dutch and English, enabling effective communication with local stakeholders, international teams, and leadership across regions.
  • • A self-starter, can-do mindset with a collaborative coaching approach — comfortable taking initiative, getting hands-on with implementation, and empowering others to succeed.
  • • Openness to a hybrid work model (1–3 days per week from the office in The Hague) and willingness to travel internationally up to once per quarter for team gatherings or strategic meetings.
