  • • This senior leadership role demands a proactive individual with extensive HR expertise, robust business acumen, and the capacity to navigate complex, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.
  • • You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless continuity between deal execution and successful organizational integration, acting as a critical advisor to senior leadership and making informed, impactful decisions.
  • • The primary responsibility is to own and lead the HR Due Diligence process for all M&A transactions. This involves meticulously defining data requirements, managing the collection and analysis of critical information, identifying potential people-related risks that require pre- or post-closing attention, and addressing intricate equity and compensation considerations.
  • • You will partner closely with the Corporate Development team and their Integration specialists to articulate and execute a comprehensive People integration plan, ensuring all HR aspects are meticulously managed.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of Deel’s existing people programs, policies, and operational model to design and implement scalable, efficient M&A playbooks that can be adapted across various transaction types.
  • • A key function is to develop and execute a holistic People M&A strategy and roadmap, encompassing diligence, compliance, strategic workforce planning, detailed integration execution, and ensuring operational readiness for acquired entities.

  • • Orchestrating resources across various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) will be crucial to guarantee the effective and timely delivery of all integration workstreams, ensuring specialized expertise is leveraged appropriately.
  • • A critical task is to assess the talent capabilities within acquired organizations, developing targeted retention strategies for key personnel and managing workforce transitions with sensitivity and compliance where necessary.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of HR policies, processes, systems, and organizational structures, creating a unified and efficient operational framework.
  • • Managing HR-related Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) will be a key responsibility, ensuring that contractual obligations are met and that services are effectively transitioned.
  • • Leading comprehensive change management and communication strategies is vital to support cultural integration, foster employee engagement, and ensure a smooth transition for all affected employees.
  • • You will define clear project goals, establish realistic timelines, and set measurable success metrics, diligently managing progress through established PMO governance structures.
  • • Identifying and mitigating operational, regulatory, and compliance risks is paramount, working in close partnership with the Legal team to ensure full alignment with all applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements across diverse global jurisdictions.
  • • Acting as a thought partner and an influence-based leader, you will navigate complex stakeholder environments, build consensus, and enable effective cross-functional alignment to achieve strategic objectives.
  • • The core deliverables for this role include developing and owning the end-to-end People M&A strategy, leading the planning and execution of integration efforts, defining the organizational and talent strategy for acquired companies, driving change management and cultural integration, overseeing HR operational integration, managing risk and compliance, and ensuring consistent executive stakeholder alignment and reporting.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Deel through strategic acquisitions, contributing directly to our rapid growth and global expansion by ensuring our people strategy is a competitive advantage.
