  • • As a People Operations Associate at Lawhive, you will play a vital role in supporting the employee experience across the entire lifecycle, ensuring smooth onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR operations that empower the team to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • • You will own and manage new starter onboarding, including preparing contracts and welcome materials, scheduling induction sessions, setting up accounts, tools, and equipment ahead of day one, and handling off-boarding processes to ensure compliance and smooth transitions.
  • • You will maintain and update internal systems such as HRIS, IT asset registers, access permissions, and shared documentation, while assisting with system access changes and workspace setups during internal moves or team restructures.
  • • You will support office logistics, manage day-to-day employee queries related to systems and tools, help drive engagement through culture, wellbeing, learning & development, and DEI initiatives, and contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and streamlining workflows.

  • • In this role, you will develop expertise in HR operations, HRIS management, onboarding/offboarding best practices, and employee experience design, while gaining exposure to AI-driven legal tech and fast-scaling startup operations.
  • • You will achieve measurable impact by improving onboarding efficiency, reducing administrative friction, enhancing data accuracy in HR systems, and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture that supports Lawhive’s mission of equal access to the law.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1–3 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, or similar roles, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment
  • • Familiarity with HR tools such as HiBob, Ashby, Notion, or similar platforms, and comfort handling sensitive employee data
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
