Your contributions as a People Operations Associate will be instrumental in fueling this growth and ensuring our internal operations scale effectively to support our ambitious goals.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to champion and support the end-to-end employee journey. This includes ensuring a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience for all new hires, meticulously managing employee transitions, and providing ongoing support throughout their tenure at Jerry. You will be a key point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and facilitating processes that contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • • As a remote-first company, fostering a strong sense of connection and culture is paramount. You will serve as a vital culture ambassador, taking the lead in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of company-wide and team-specific events. This includes coordinating offsites, in-person gatherings, and virtual events designed to strengthen bonds, celebrate achievements, and reinforce our unique company culture. Your creativity and organizational skills will be essential in making these initiatives impactful and memorable.
  • • Effective internal communication is crucial for our distributed team. You will play a significant role in our internal communications efforts, ensuring that information flows smoothly and efficiently across the organization. This involves drafting, editing, and distributing essential internal communications, such as company-wide newsletters, periodic updates on company progress, and important policy announcements. Your ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages will be key to keeping everyone informed and aligned.
  • • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our HR data and systems is a core function of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy within our HRIS and other record-keeping systems. This includes managing critical administrative tasks such as I-9 verification, assisting with benefits administration, and processing employment verification letters. Your meticulous attention to detail will safeguard sensitive employee information and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves process optimization and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. You will proactively identify opportunities to streamline People Operations workflows, seeking innovative solutions to automate backend processes. This may involve exploring and implementing AI-powered tools and other technological advancements to improve the speed and accuracy of our operations, freeing up valuable time for more strategic initiatives.
  • • You will also contribute to the development and refinement of People Operations policies and procedures, ensuring they align with our company values and support our growth. This includes assisting with HR compliance matters and staying abreast of evolving labor laws and best practices. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement will be highly valued.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of relevant principles.
  • • Prior experience or a strong, demonstrated interest in HR or People Operations, preferably within a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment, indicating an understanding of dynamic work settings.
  • • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, essential for managing multiple tasks, projects, and sensitive employee data accurately.
