📋 Description
- • Serve as Capi’s internal subject matter expert on French employment law, including contracts, works council obligations, terminations, leave entitlements, and statutory requirements.
- • Own compliance documentation and ensure all employment practices in France are current, accurate, and audit-ready.
- • Partner with Legal to navigate complex or novel employment situations across international markets.
- • Monitor and translate regulatory changes into practical, actionable process updates for France and other jurisdictions.
- • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for direct employees and assigned EOR markets, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, and benefits coordination.
- • Build and maintain standardized SOPs, templates, and playbooks to enable consistent, compliant People Operations delivery across multiple countries.
- • Manage relationships with EOR partners across global markets, proactively identifying issues and holding vendors to high performance standards.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on all People Ops matters, providing clear, empathetic, and solutions-oriented support.
- • Identify operational gaps in People Ops workflows and lead improvements with minimal oversight.
- • Lead or contribute to cross-functional People Ops projects such as HRIS enhancements, onboarding revamps, and policy rollouts.
- • Maintain high-quality, accurate People data and documentation across all systems and platforms.
- • Support team gatherings, market visits, and offsites designed to strengthen connections across Capi’s distributed global team.
- • Champion a best-in-class employee experience from Day 0 through exit, ensuring every interaction reflects Capi’s values.
- • Collaborate closely with the Head of People on strategic people challenges and long-term People Ops strategy.
- • Act as a proactive partner to managers across departments, providing guidance on compliance, policy, and employee relations.
- • Ensure all People Ops activities align with Capi’s mission of building fairer financial infrastructure for emerging markets.
- • Maintain fluency in both French and English to communicate effectively with employees, legal teams, and EOR partners.
- • Regularly work from the Paris office to support in-person collaboration and team cohesion.
