- • As the People Operations Manager at Savvy Insurance Services, Inc., you will own the day-to-day engine of how the company runs — managing payroll, benefits, onboarding, policies, and people systems to ensure seamless operations as we scale rapidly.
- • You will serve as the primary owner of end-to-end payroll lifecycle, manage vendor and broker relationships, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and act as a trusted resource for employee inquiries on payroll and benefits.
- • You will partner with Talent, IT, and Finance to continuously improve onboarding, coordinate cross-functional handoffs for a seamless Day 1 experience, and maintain consistency in promotions, role changes, and offboarding processes.
- • You will own and optimize the HRIS (Rippling), build and maintain people reporting for leadership decision-making, identify operational bottlenecks, and design scalable, repeatable processes to support growth.
- • You will evolve the employee handbook and internal policies to align with multi-state labor laws, collaborate closely with Finance on payroll reconciliation, budgeting, and audit support, and ensure all employee-facing communications are clear, timely, and professional.
- • You will be a trusted partner to employees and leaders alike, shaping an employee experience that reflects the excellence Savvy promises to its clients — ensuring every touchpoint in the employee journey is modern, intuitive, and reliable.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- • Hands-on experience with payroll and benefits administration (Rippling or similar HRIS strongly preferred)
- • Strong working knowledge of multi-state compliance and employment policies
- • Proven ability to write clean, compliant policies and communicate them clearly
- • Highly process-oriented, detail-obsessed, and systems-minded
- • Service-oriented, approachable, and responsive — employees trust you to have answers
- • Adaptable and energized by solving problems in a constantly evolving environment
