- • As the People Operations Manager at Vapi Technologies Inc., you will serve as the execution engine of the People function, ensuring that foundational HR systems and programs run reliably and consistently to support a high-quality employee experience during a period of rapid growth.
- • You will take ownership of core People operations including onboarding, offboarding, performance cycle logistics, and HRIS administration, enabling the broader People team to shift focus from tactical work to strategic initiatives like org design and career development.
- • You will join a mission-driven company building the most configurable platform for deploying voice agents, with over 600k developers and 2,000+ new sign-ups daily, positioning Vapi at the forefront of the shift to voice as humanity’s default interface.
- • You will ramp quickly on Vapi’s People technology stack, including Lattice for performance management and Sequoia One for payroll and benefits, while establishing baseline reporting on headcount, attrition, and key People metrics within your first 30 days.
- • By day 60, you will fully own performance cycle execution in Lattice, standardize onboarding and offboarding experiences across all teams, audit HR systems for data integrity and workflow efficiency, and begin implementing operational improvements to close process gaps.
- • By day 90, you will implement reporting dashboards for performance, promotions, and attrition, drive automation and scalability across People systems, and become a trusted, responsive first point of contact for employee inquiries and support.
- • You will work closely with a kind, ownership-driven team where 70% of employees are previous founders, led by Canadian founders Jordan and Nikhil, and backed by tier-1 investors including Y Combinator, KP Seed, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
- • This role offers the opportunity to build scalable HR infrastructure from the ground up in a high-growth environment, directly contributing to Vapi’s generational mission of creating the human interface for every business while developing expertise in HR operations, systems optimization, and employee experience design.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of HR Ops, People Ops, or similar experience in a high-growth environment
- • Strong hands-on experience with HRIS and performance tools (Lattice and Sequoia One preferred)
- • Deep understanding of payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance
- • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to run multiple programs simultaneously
- • Clear, direct communicator who represents the People function with professionalism
- • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building systems from the ground up
