📋 Description
- • Serve as the primary People Operations contact for employees and managers across North America and Asia-Pacific & Japan, ensuring seamless HR operations and positive employee experience.
- • Oversee the full employee lifecycle including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, time-off and leaves, and internal mobility for NA and APJ regions.
- • Manage accurate and timely data entry and maintenance across all People systems and tools to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- • Collect, verify, and submit all required payroll inputs to the Senior Payroll Manager ahead of each payroll cycle for NA and APJ employees.
- • Own and execute state registration processes for new hires in additional U.S. states, coordinating with Finance and Legal teams as needed.
- • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve regional documentation, processes, and internal communications regarding HR policies, benefits, and FAQs.
- • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all people-related inquiries including policy interpretation, payroll questions, benefits usage, and leave requests.
- • Partner with Legal and external vendors to ensure compliance with labor regulations across all jurisdictions in NA and APJ.
- • Support the establishment of new legal entities in international markets, including transitioning employees from EOR arrangements to direct employment.
- • Provide guidance to managers on routine people matters such as contract modifications, performance issues, exits, leaves, and employee changes.
- • Help managers apply company policies consistently and correctly, offering clear, actionable advice tailored to local context.
- • Identify and escalate emerging trends in employee feedback, engagement, or experience that require cross-functional alignment or systemic intervention.
- • Contribute to global People Operations initiatives, including process improvements, documentation updates, and system rollouts in collaboration with the global People Ops team.
- • Provide backup coverage for the People Ops Partner, EMEA, as needed to ensure uninterrupted global support.
- • Support the implementation of people systems automation and digital transformation projects to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- • Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the People & Total Rewards team to meet evolving business needs.
- • Work asynchronously across multiple time zones with minimal oversight, maintaining high standards of accuracy and responsiveness.
- • Maintain strong alignment with global HR standards while adapting processes to regional legal and cultural contexts in NA and APJ.
- • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Learning & Development, and Compliance & ER teams to ensure integrated HR operations.
- • Represent the People function in cross-functional discussions, influencing stakeholders with data-driven insights and clear communication.
- • Operate in a fast-paced, fully remote, international startup environment with high autonomy and evolving priorities.
