  • • The Personal Health Advocate role is a remote, full-time position at Health Advocate, a leading provider of health advocacy and navigation services, where Registered Nurses support members in navigating the healthcare system by facilitating access to providers, benefits, and resources to improve health outcomes and member satisfaction.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving and triaging member calls on healthcare issues such as infertility, disease management, and medication questions; educating members on medical conditions and test results; researching and coordinating care with providers and insurers; scheduling appointments; documenting cases in the case management system; escalating complex issues; mentoring new team members; and handling after-hours and delegate box communications.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university
  • • Minimum three to five years of clinical and/or medical management experience
  • • Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State RN License
  • • Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and ability to explain complex medical information clearly
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • • Ability to maintain a HIPAA-compliant remote workspace with reliable internet access
