- • Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and chat inquiries while maintaining excellent customer service for personal lines insurance customers.
- • Assist customers in servicing their insurance accounts and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- • Navigate multiple online carrier platforms to retrieve information, resolve issues, and assist or train customers on platform usage.
- • Learn and apply knowledge of a wide variety of insurance programs to accurately and quickly answer customer questions.
- • Run wildfire and brush mapping reports as part of policy servicing and risk assessment processes.
- • Process non-coverage related policy endorsements, including updates to policy details that do not affect coverage terms.
- • Distribute general email inquiries to the appropriate internal staff members for resolution.
- • Direct phone inquiries to the correct internal team members when issues require specialized handling.
- • Pursue personal and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance and career growth.
- • Work within Pacific Time hours (8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday) to support primarily West Coast customers.
- • Utilize MS Office proficiency to manage documentation, communications, and data entry tasks.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient customer service delivery across multiple systems and platforms.
- • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
- • Adapt to evolving insurance programs and carrier platforms through continuous learning and training.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED
- • Minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Proficient with MS Office
- • Exceptional telephone demeanor
- • Working knowledge of carrier websites (Preferred)
- • Experience with Agency Management Software Systems (Preferred)
